One of the simplest and fastest rolls, especially for those who do not have time for laborious training! Good to put on the table when unannounced guests come, when you feel like "something else", good to take with you, etc.

RECIPE PREPARATION Rolled appetizer with ham and cheese:

Wash the pepper, dry it, cut it in half lengthwise (remove the spine) and cut it into long strips.

On the tortilla sheets, spread 2 teaspoons of green cheese, 2 slices of ham and 4 slices of melted cheese. We put a few pieces of pepper and we start to run carefully, so that it doesn't break.

Cut larger (or smaller) pieces and serve with fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers), olives and red eggs or other appetizers (drob, meat rolls, beef salad, etc.).

The combination is a special one and will definitely be the attraction of the evening, at least at the beginning because the meal will be very rich and I hope it will please my guests.

Nothing difficult to achieve on this plate with festive appetizers & # 8230 It's all about everyone's imagination how we arrange the plate and how we match the products. I cut the Havarti and Irish Cedar cheeses into cubes and interspersed them to make the plate more colorful. Gouda cheese was wrapped in prosciutto and next to it I placed slices of clementines.

The cheeses are accompanied by salted hazelnuts and fried almonds. On the plate there is also a Brie au Bleu-Ile de France, sprinkled with olive oil, seasoned with a mixture of Provencal herbs and hot pepper flakes. Everything is very simple!
All you need is these assortments of cheeses from Delaco and a little imagination.


Recipe: Roll with spinach and ham

If you want to prepare other recipes with spinach, then you can try the spinach, ham and cheese roll. It is a light and very tasty appetizer.

Ingredients for spinach and ham roll
& # 8211 5 eggs
& # 8211 5 tablespoons boiled and chopped spinach
(to get 5 tablespoons of boiled and chopped spinach, you need about 1/2 kg of fresh spinach).

& # 8211 1 teaspoon salt
& # 8211 1/2 baking powder

Boil the spinach, drain well, allow to cool and then chop.
Whisk the egg whites. Mix the yolks with the chopped spinach and sour cream. Gradually add the beaten egg whites.

Add salt and flour mixed with baking powder. The top composition is poured into a tray greased and lined with flour and put in the oven. When it is cooked, turn it over on a damp napkin and roll it. Allow to cool.

Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add 2 tablespoons of flour and brown a little then quench with milk. Stir and leave until thickened. Season with salt and pepper. After the cream has thickened, remove the pan from the heat. Cut the ham into small cubes or you can chop it.

The ham is added to the boiled cream on the stove together with 100 grams of grated cheese and mix well. With this composition the roll is filled with spinach.

Roll back and place the roll in a tray lined with baking paper. Spread cream on top and sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Put the tray in the oven and leave until the cheese melts on top, approx. Ten minutes. Remove the spinach and ham roll from the oven, allow to cool and then you can slice.


Appetizer cream from ham and cheese, with horseradish

For meals of holidays (especially because they are in white, green and red: P) or for any other special occasion, I also propose a ham and cheese cream, taken out of anonymity with a hint of horseradish, just right to prepare some small sandwiches and cute, beautifully colored and appetizing. The recipe is simple and you can prepare the cream in advance, and before the arrival of the guests, just make and decorate the sandwiches (not too long before the bread does not soften). I used mini-toasts, bought as such, but they also go for biscuits, breadsticks, slices of toast at home or even slices of fresh baguette. What you like best.

As for the cheese, I have now experimented with a Romanian cheese, with a little sour cream in it, but I can't say that I really liked it, so I would take a creamy Philadelphia next time. Finally, the ham is better to be drier (not with a lot of water in it) and a little smoked. The recipe is inspired by the magazine & # 8220Ioana & # 8211 Secrets of the kitchen & # 8221.

Ingredient:

& # 8211 cheese (cream cheese / cow cheese) 200 g

+ bread, arugula and cherry tomatoes to serve

Pass very well with the blender, in stages, ham, cheese and liquid cream. Put the resulting cream in a bowl and mix it with the butter brought to room temperature. Add the horseradish, a little salt and white pepper and mix well. Keep the foam cool until ready to serve.

Make the sandwiches and decorate them with an arugula leaf and a piece of cherry tomato.

  4. Carefully shake all the remaining seeds and proceed to the frying of the pepper, by light zig-zag movements, made on the edge of the pepper, with the help of a sharp knife.
  5. Now comes the rose petals: because I had very large slices of ham, I chose to cut them with a cookie cutter (if you have smaller slices of ham, you no longer need to cut them).
  6. Take each circle of ham and fold it in half, then once more in half, so that a small cone will form, which is stuck in the hot peppers prepared in advance.
  7. Lightly spread the ham petals and the roses are ready!
  8. They sit nicely on a plate and are ready to be presented on the table, among the other plates with special appetizers.

Extrasfat: for a variety of colors, you can make white roses, using fine sheets of cheese / melted cheese, or you can make gradient roses, alternating 2 ham leaves of different colors or strips of smoked salmon.

Also, the hot pepper stalks can be filled with a little cream cheese, before fixing the ham flower.
