Corn has never, ever tasted so decadent
Creamed corn is a perfect side dish for summer barbecues when corn is in season or as a fall and winter comfort food. This dish serves a crowd, you can halve the recipe for a family meal.
Add in crumbled bacon or chopped green onion to make it even more delish.
- 6 Cups fresh, frozen or canned sweet corn
- 1 Cup whole milk
- 8 Ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 1/2 Cup butter, cubed
- 1 Tablespoon white sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 Teaspoon cayenne pepper (leave out if you don’t want the kick)
