Today the sentence is very difficult. The reasons are many. One would be that people have become more comfortable (or in a hurry) and prefer to buy ready-made foil from the store. Another would be that I don't even cook at home anymore, but I prefer to buy pastries, saltines and other puff pastry from the pastry shop. As one who has very well-developed taste buds and smell, and who has eaten enough pastries in my life, both home-made and bought, I can tell you that you can feel the difference, and still very well, between the foil I bought and the one made at home. The foil in the store (the frozen one) does not have the consistency that the homemade puff pastry has, but it has at least the same number of calories and certainly some extra E's.

And I want to tell you something: although at first it may seem difficult to prepare the homemade foil, I assure you that is not the case. You will see that the second, third time will seem more and more simple to you and you will realize that it is well worth the effort. The only problem, from my point of view, is that it takes a little longer. Especially if you want a beautiful, multi-layered sheet to come out, it has to be wrapped several times.

So after the booklets filled with plum jam (one of the most beloved dishes from my childhood), today I present you another miracle of pastry: Cheese pies. And, for those who can't find bone, I present you the adapted version, for which I used a mixture of butter and lard.
